Activities Day 2

Morning

• 
  Skip the 7-hour drive and arrive fresh. This 60-minute flight transports you from the shores of Lake Victoria to the savannah of Murchison Falls. Upon landing at Pakuba, your guide will be waiting at the airstrip for your first game drive en route to the lodge.

Afternoon

• 
  Transfer to Nile Safari Lodge, Nile Safari Lodge

Activities Day 3

Early Morning

• 
   'Dawn Patrol.' We cross to the northern bank of the Nile just as the sun begins to rise.
  The cool morning air offers the best opportunity to spot nocturnal predators—Lions, Leopards, and Spotted Hyenas—before they retreat from the heat. 

Afternoon

• 
  Here, the entire Victoria Nile—50 meters wide—is compressed into a tiny gorge just 7 meters wide. The result is a visceral display of nature's power, as the water explodes 43 meters down into the "Devil's Cauldron" with a thunderous roar.
• 
  Witness the most powerful natural surge of water on the planet. We drive (or hike) to the famous 'Top of the Falls,' where the entire River Nile forces its way through a rock gap only 7 meters (23 feet) wide before crashing 43 meters down.

   

  Standing at the edge, you can feel the ground tremble beneath your feet from the sheer force of the water. It is a sensory experience—the roar, the spray, and the permanent rainbow—that captures the raw power of nature like nowhere else.

Activity Day 4

Afternoon

  Flight to Kasese, Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
• 
  Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary is a lush biodiversity hotspot located in the Magombe Swamp.
  This is a primate lover’s playground, often offering better sightings of the Grey-cheeked Mangabey and Red Colobus as well as the vibrant Great Blue Turaco. 

Activities Day 5

Early Morning

  The adventure begins with a sound: a chorus of pant-hoots echoing through Kibale's canopy. Your guide leads you deep into the rainforest to find them. Witness their dynamic family life unfold as they swing, squabble, and play. This is an exhilarating immersion.

Afternoon

• 
  As the afternoon's golden light filters through the trees, your adventure gives way to tranquility. Settle into a plush armchair on the main deck, a handcrafted cocktail in hand, a much-needed relaxation at the lodge

Activities Day 6

Morning

• 
  Transfer to Queen Elizabeth, Kyambura Gorge Lodge

Afternoon

• 
  Join the Uganda Carnivore Program to track lions with radio telemetry. Go off the main tracks, listening for the ping of a satellite collar to locate a pride. This is a hands-on experience providing uncrowded observation while you help gather vital data

Activities Day 7

Early Morning

• 
  As dawn casts a golden glow. You'll learn to spot the subtle signs of the wild, fresh tracks in the dust and an alarm call from a bird. 
  Search for vast herds of Uganda kob, elephants against the backdrop of the Rwenzori Mountains, and the stealthy leopards.
  

Afternoon

• 
  Embark on the highlight of Queen Elizabeth National Park: a private boat safari along the famous Kazinga Channel. This natural waterway connects Lakes Edward and George and sustains the world’s highest concentration of hippos.

   

  Drifting slowly along the banks, you will witness a spectacular convergence of wildlife coming to drink—from herds of elephants and buffalo to thirsty lions and leopards. With an abundance of waterbirds, including Pelicans and Fish Eagles, this is widely considered one of the best photographic experiences in East Africa.

Activity Day 8

Morning

• 
  Drive south to the remote Ishasha Sector (approx. 2 hours), passing through the Maramagambo Forest. You will check into Ishasha Wilderness Camp, the only luxury lodge located within this sector of the park. Evening: Cap off the day with a classic sundowner game drive, sipping cold drinks in the bush as the sun dips below the horizon.

  Research Participation Morning: Lion Tracking Experience. Join the Uganda Carnivore Program research, Ishasha Sector

Evening

• 
  Kibale Forest National Park protects one of the highest primate densities in Africa.

   

  Home to 13 different species—including the rare L’Hoest’s monkey and the endangered Red Colobus. But the true icons here are the Chimpanzees with over 1,500.

Activity Day 10

Morning

• 
  Leaving the savannah behind, you will drive south into the terraced highlands of Kigezi (approx. 4 hours). As the road climbs, the air cools and the views expand. You will check into Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge, Uganda’s highest lodge. Built of volcanic stone, your private cottage features a roaring fireplace, a personal butler, and front-row views of the Virunga Volcanoes.

Activity Day 11

Early Morning

  This is the pinnacle of wildlife encounters. While a standard trek allows you one precious hour, the Gorilla Habituation Experience grants you an extraordinary four hours in the presence of a mountain gorilla family in the Rushaga sector.

Activities Day 12

Morning

• 
  Long before the park existed, this ancient forest was home to the Batwa people. This is a unique opportunity to be invited into their world, not as an observer, but as a guest.

Afternoon

• 
  After the exhilarating challenge of your gorilla trek, return to the sanctuary of your private cottage at Clouds. There is no need to go anywhere. We will bring the spa to you.

Activity Day 13

Early Morning

• 
  After a briefing from your expert ranger, you'll step into the cool, misty quiet of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Your guides read the forest's subtle signs, leading you ever closer. And very soon, you are a quiet guest in the home of a mountain gorilla family

Activity Day 14

• 
  After a final breakfast in the clouds, transfer down the mountain to Kisoro Airstrip. You will board a morning flight back to Entebbe, enjoying one last view of the volcanoes from the air. Day Use: We have booked a day room for you at Hotel No. 5
